Privacy Policy

Last updated: 23 October 2026

This policy explains what personal information GdoctorG ("we", "us") collects when you use GdoctorG, what we do with it, who it is shared with, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

  • Account details: your name, email address, mobile number, city and country, and your password (stored only in scrambled form, never as plain text). If you sign in with Google, we receive the basic profile details Google shares for that purpose.
  • Booking details: the doctors, clinics, hospitals and labs you book with, the dates and times, the fees, and the status of each booking. If you book for a family member, their name and the booking details you enter for them.
  • Payment details: whether a payment succeeded, its amount and reference. Card, UPI and net-banking details are entered on our payment partner's secure checkout and are not stored by us.
  • Refund details: if you ask for a refund, the bank account details you give us so we can transfer it.
  • Messages you send us, such as support requests.
  • Technical information: your IP address and device information in our server logs, used for security and to keep the service running.

How we use it

  • To create your account, let you log in, and keep it secure.
  • To make, change, cancel and refund bookings, and to take payments.
  • To send you codes (for example to verify your email), booking confirmations and receipts, reminders and updates about your bookings, by email and inside the app.
  • To answer support requests and resolve disputes.
  • To prevent fraud and misuse, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Who we share it with

  • The doctor, clinic, hospital or lab you book with, who need your booking details (and your name and contact details) to see you.
  • If someone books on your behalf — for example a booking partner or operator — they can see the bookings they made for you.
  • Our service providers: our payment partner (for taking payments), our email provider (for sending messages), and our hosting provider. They may only use the information to provide their service to us.
  • Google, if you choose to sign in with Google.
  • Authorities, when the law requires it.

Cookies

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. It is needed for the service to work and is not used for advertising or tracking across other sites.

How long we keep it

We keep your account information while your account is active. Booking, payment and refund records are kept for as long as needed for accounting, dispute handling and legal requirements. Some operational records, such as in-app notifications and email send logs, are deleted automatically after a set period.

Security

Connections to GdoctorG are encrypted (HTTPS), passwords are stored in scrambled form, and access to personal information is limited to the people and systems that need it. No system is perfectly secure, so please choose a strong password and keep it private.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete your account and the information we are not required to keep. Write to us using the details on the Contact page and we will respond.

Children and family members

You may book for a family member only if you are authorised to do so. If you book for a child, you confirm that you are their parent or legal guardian.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed; important changes will also be shown in the app.
